Fall 2014 Schedule of Participation

After a nice summer break from a slew of SharePoint community events, it is time for the fall season to pick up in full swing. I am thankful to have the opportunity to attend and present at the following events this fall and look forward to talking to as many of you as possible. I have also been working on updated and all new material as trends, ideas and best practices keep changing and I want to share my recent experiences.

SharePoint Fest Denver – September 22nd – 24th

I am once again heading to SP Fest Denver. I have always enjoyed the vibe, session line up and attendees of all SP Fests and Denver has been no exception.

I will be presenting the following two sessions.

Wednesday Sept 24th from 3:20pm – 4:30pm

SharePoint Saturday Bend – October 4th – #SPSBend – FREE

SharePoint Saturday Bend is back for its second time, this time scheduled to take place Saturday October 4th. If you are in the Oregon area, this is the only SharePoint event for you this year, and did I mention it is free? The speaker and session line up is shaping up and the attendees were great last time.

I will be presenting a session on branding SharePoint 2013.

SharePoint Saturday Redmond – October 11th – #SPSRed – FREE

The following weekend, Saturday Oct 11th, SharePoint Saturday is coming back to Redmond Washington. This will be my third SPS Redmond and as always I expect it to be one of the premier SharePoint Saturdays that I have the pleasure of attending. As always it is being hosted on the Microsoft campus and there are also quite a few Microsoft speakers scheduled to present.

I will also be presenting a session on branding SharePoint 2013, but I always enjoy talking about most any SharePoint topic.

SharePoint Saturday San Diego – November 15th – #SPSSD – FREE

The San Diego SharePoint User Group is hosting their second SharePoint Saturday San Diego, Saturday November 15th. I have had the pleasure helping advise the organizing committee plan this event and it is going to be great. The committee is working hard to get an amazing session line up of the topics you want to learn about, presented by both seasoned and local speakers. This is the only Southern California SharePoint event happening this year so place this on your calendar and I look forward to seeing you.

I hope to be presenting a session on some aspect of branding SharePoint.

SharePoint Fest Chicago – December 8th – 10th

I plan to finish out 2014 by once again heading to SP Fest Chicago. Last year’s SP Fest Chicago was a great experience as well, and I look forward to another great conference.

The session line up is still being ironed out but I expect to be presenting new material on branding SharePoint.

And 2015

I have not yet locked in my 2015 plans but I am sure I will be all around the country and hopefully hit a few international conferences as well. Current early plans include Austin, Utah, Denver, Chicago, the West Coast, Europe and hopefully west of here. We’ll see. I hope to help bring SharePoint Saturday back to Silicon Valley and maybe Sacramento in 2015 as well. I look forward to all of the conversations.
