I’m very excited to announce that I have been selected as a speaker at the first ever Microsoft Ignite. Ignite 2015, which is being held from May 4 to May 8 in Chicago, IL, is Microsoft’s new joint technology conference, bringing together Microsoft Exchange, Lync, Project, SharePoint, MMS, and TechEd. Ignite will feature some of the best from cloud infrastructure and management, productivity, big data and the internet of things, unified communications, mobility and more. With currently over 617 sessions and workshops, you can guarantee there will be something for everyone.
My topic for this event will be “The Social Intranet: Integrate Yammer into Your Microsoft SharePoint Experience.” I am honored to be co-presenting this topic with Naomi Moneypenny (@nmoneypenny), one of the premier leaders in Yammer integration and implementation. Take a peek at the session in the session catalog for the full abstract as well as other details. Integrating Yammer into intranet portals, specifically SharePoint, is something I have been working with quite frequently and I am very excited to share with you all that I have learned for a successful integration.
As I get ready for Ignite in May, expect many previews on my blog and twitter. I intend to send out some pre-released content. Of, course I will keep you informed of any updates on my own topic or other Ignite related news. I am so excited to be part of such an amazing event and I look forward to seeing everyone there.
