Last year I was honored to receive my first Microsoft MVP award as an Office Servers and Services MVP. I am again honored and humbled to have been renewed as a Microsoft MVP for another year.
This past year has been amazing. The beginning of the year took a few months to get started, but then after the May 4th “Future of SharePoint” event in San Francisco, everything really took off. I have been making it a point to dig into as much SharePoint Framework and PnP as possible so that I may help share the experiences and knowledge to assist anyone I can who works with SharePoint and Office 365.
This past year, I again had the pleasure of co-hosting two regional SharePoint Saturdays, one each in Silicon Valley and Sacramento, assist with and attend other SharePoint Saturday’s around the western US, and present at Ignite, ESPC, SP Techcon’s, SharePoint Fest’s, user groups and community webinars. Further, it has been exciting to be involved with Northern California SharePoint user groups, watching the community grow.
2017 is going to be even better than 2016. I am beyond excited with the eminent release of the SharePoint Framework and see the future of SharePoint and Office 365 to be very bright indeed. Here’s to 2017 everyone!
Congrats Eric. The quality of the content you have shared this past year has been very high. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much. It has been a pleasure, we are all lucky to be a part of an engaging community, it makes it that much easier to participate.
